Timezone

Members record their own timezone so the rest can see their local time.

What it does

Every member sets their own timezone once. After that anybody can look up what time it is where somebody else lives, which saves an argument every time an event is planned.

Commands

/timezone set

Set your own timezone, with an optional choice of time format.

/timezone view

See somebody else's timezone, or your own when you name nobody.

/timezone show

Show your current timezone settings.

/timezone event

See the times of an event in your own timezone.

The dashboard page

Dashboard → your server → Timezone. It sends a setup message with a button to a channel of your choice, so members can set theirs without knowing the command.

The page also shows how many members have set one, the 20 most common timezones with their city, country and GMT offset, and the 10 most recent changes.

Info

The module has to be on before that message can be sent; with the module off the send is refused.
