Troubleshooting
Bot isn't responding to commands
Try these solutions:
- Use slash commands (type / to see commands)
- Check bot has "Read Messages" and "Send Messages" permissions
- Verify bot role is higher than roles it needs to manage
- Try reinviting the bot with fresh permissions
Can't see my server in dashboard
Make sure:
- You have "Manage Server" or "Administrator" permission
- The bot is actually in the server
- Try logging out and back in to refresh
Music not playing or cutting out
Check these:
- Bot has "Connect" and "Speak" permissions in voice channel
- Volume isn't set to 0 (use /music volume)
- Try different voice region in server settings
- Check if source platform (YouTube/Spotify) is having issues
Welcome messages not sending
Verify:
- Welcome module is enabled in dashboard
- Welcome channel is selected and still exists
- Bot has permission to send messages in welcome channel
- Test with the preview in the dashboard
Leveling not working
Check:
- Leveling system is enabled in dashboard
- Channel isn't in excluded channels list
- User isn't a bot (bots don't earn XP)
- XP cooldown hasn't been set too high
Troubleshooting
Changes not saving
Make sure to click the "Save" or "Save Changes" button at the bottom of each section. Changes won't take effect until you save.
Dashboard looks broken/weird
Try clearing your browser cache (Ctrl+Shift+Delete) or try a different browser. Make sure JavaScript is enabled.
Reaction Roles: 500 Error when saving
If you see a 500 Internal Server Error when saving reaction roles:
- This was caused by an outdated database schema
- Fixed in migration 2025_11_05_080819
- The fix should be deployed automatically
If you still see this error after the latest deployment, contact support.
