Dashboard basics

Where things are, how modules are switched on, and how changes are saved.

What this section covers

Three things behave the same on every page of the dashboard: how you get around, how you reorder a list, and how you save. Each has its own page.

Two bars

Domains and modules on top, the server below.

Reordering

Four lists can be reordered by dragging.

One save bar

It appears when there is something to save.

Navigation is two horizontal bars. The top one holds the logo, the tabs Command, Guilds, Reports and Settings, and on a server page a Modules menu.

The second bar only appears on a server page: the server picker, the workspace tabs and any modules you starred.

Modules are on or off

Every module has a switch in its page header. While it is off, the page shows an enable screen instead of its settings.

That switch is the only place the on/off state is written. The settings form below it never changes it.

Saving

Change a setting and a bar appears at the bottom with Save changes and Reset. Nothing is stored until you press Save changes.

Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting

A module page shows an enable screen instead of settings.

The module is off. Turn it on from that screen; you can enable it on its own or go straight into the guided setup.

A module is not in the Modules menu.

Modules that belong to a hub are listed under that hub, not separately. Use Browse all modules at the bottom of the menu, or search.

I do not see the server bar.

It only exists on a server page. Pick a server under Guilds first.

My changes were gone after I switched pages.

Nothing is saved in the background. If the save bar was still showing, the changes were not stored.
