Reordering by dragging

The four places in the dashboard where a list can be reordered by dragging.

How it works

Rows that can be reordered have a grip handle on the left. Hold it, move the row up or down, and let go where you want it.

Mouse or touch only

Dragging responds to a pointer, not to the keyboard. There is no keyboard equivalent for reordering.

Where you can drag

Four lists. Everywhere else the order is fixed or set by a field.

AutoMod rules

On the AutoMod page, drag a rule to change its position in the list. The new order is stored as the rule priority.

Application form questions

Open a form under Applications and drag a question to change the order applicants see.

Server Stats counters

Drag a counter to change the order of the counter channels.

Linked ticket panels

In the panel editor, drag the linked panels to change the order they are offered in.

What gets saved, and when

AutoMod rules and form questions store their new order the moment you let go. You get a confirmation, and there is nothing left to save.

Server Stats counters and linked ticket panels are part of the page form: the save bar appears and the new order is stored when you press Save changes.

Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting

There is no grip handle on the rows.

Then that list cannot be reordered. Only the four lists above support dragging.

AutoMod rules will not move.

Reordering is switched off while a rule type filter is active. Set the filter back to all rules and try again.

I want to reorder something else.

Other lists have their order fixed, or use a numeric position field. Check the page of that module.
